Asian Agri has submitted its resignation letter to the High Carbon Stock Approach (HCSA) secretariat on April 12, 2023. The withdrawal will officially be effective from May 11, 2023.

As a core to our operation activities, sustainability has been the center of our vision and mission. Therefore, we developed Sustainability Policy in 2014 in order to position a sustainable business practices. The policy is in line with our commitment to “No Deforestation, No Peat and No Exploitation” (NDPE) that not only apply to all of our operations, but equally important our supply chains.

As we have completed all our new land developments since 2003, we are trying to focus towards climate positive and aiming to achieve net zero emissions. Aside of that, as a part of our sustainability commitment to make positive contributions and to strengthen our sustainability efforts, we developed Asian Agri 2030 (AA2030) commitments that aligned with United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

With this, Asian Agri would like to thank the HCSA Secretariat for its assistance, support and cooperation. We will remain respectful to HCSA as part of our NDPE commitment. We are committed to continue giving positive contributions to the environment as well as the society.
