[Riau Pos] Cattle provide alternative income in replanting period

The cattle farming program initiated by Asian Agri is very helpful for smallholders as it provides them with additional income while their oil palms are being replanted, reported riaupos.co.

Since 2011, Asian Agri has worked with Pontian Mekar Village, Riau, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program. 

In 2017 there were 32 smallholders in the village who were taking part in the program.
