Amanah Association, one of Asian Agri’s partner independent smallholder associations, successfully obtained Indonesia Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification from General Director of Plantations, Ministry of Agriculture Republic of Indonesia, reported Waspada.co.id.
Amanah Association becomes the first independent smallholder association to achieve ISPO certification in Indonesia. At the end of 2016, Asian Agri’s partnership with independent smallholders had reached 24,500 hectares, spread across North Sumatra, Riau and Jambi.
