[SAWIT INDONESIA] ASIAN AGRI OPERATES POWER PLANTS WITH 19MW TOTAL CAPACTY TO REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS

To date, Asian Agri has operated 10 biogas power plants with a total capacity of 19 MW spread across Jambi, North Sumatra, and Riau. In North Sumatra, there have been three additional biogas- power plants operating since 2019. “The three power plants in North Sumatra each has a capacity of 1.2 MW,” said Asian Agri Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations Director Bernard Riedo on Thursday (14/10).
