[JAMBI EKSPRES] CSR ASIAN AGRI GIVES HEALTH FACILITIES TO SCHOOLS TO PREVENT COVID-19

In order to support teaching and learning activities in Tebo Regency in this new normal era, Asian Agri, an oil palm plantation company operating in North Sumatra, Riau and Jambi Provinces, distributed disinfectant and provided hand washing facilities to SD Negeri 217 / VIII Bukit Harapan Village, Sumay District. , Tebo Regency, Jambi Province.

Asian Agri donated facilities including the establishment of faucets in front of each class room, hand washing soap and disinfectants.

According to Head of HSE & CSR, Welly Pardede, the program is part of. “The assistance is a support from Asian Agri’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through its business unit PT RAU (Rigunas Agri Utama) in responding to the circular letter of the Head of the Education and Culture Office of Tebo Regency regarding the implementation of face-to-face learning at the kindergarten and elementary levels conducted in Tebo Regency,” he said.

He said that in-class learning should observe and carry out the Covid-19 protocol. “Therefore, we need to be prepared, practice regular hand washing with soap before starting the class activities, wearing masks and conduct physical distancing”, he added.
