Students of SD 05 Segati Village, Langgam Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province were given an explanation of forest and land fire prevention (karhutla).
The education socialization was facilitated by Asian Agri through the Fire Aware Community (FAC) program which took place on November 4, 2019, attended by Hafiz Hazalin (PT MUP – Asian Agri), Ronal (Kadus Segati), August Alamsah (Fire Aware Community / MPA), Heru (Heru MPA), Rijal (MPA), Zulkatab (Crew Leader), Elman (Danru Damkar PT MUP), and Murni SPd (Head of SD 05 Segati).
“PT MUP, a business unit of the Asian Agri, has a role in protecting the environment. One of the manifestations is FAC, a form of corporate awareness program for the community in preventing forest and land fires”, explained Hafiz Hazalin representing PT MUP – Asian Agri.
