Asian Agri has developed partnership on a 23,771 hectare oil palm plantation owned by independent smallholders, Bisnis.com reported.
The partnership runs by planting the best quality seeds and managing best practices on the smallholders’ plantation, as well research and development assistance by Asian Agri.
Asian Agri’s partnership area with plasma and independent smallholders is currently 60.000 ha. The company targets 100.000 ha of partnership plantation by 2020, equal to the company’s core plantation area of 100.000 ha.
