[BATANGHARI NEWS] SYNERGY BETWEEN PARTIES TO PREVENT FOREST AND LAND FIRES

Inti Indosawit Subur (IIS) Asian Agri Group actively taking various preventive steps to prevent forest and land fires in 2021. The strategy is to build coordination with the surrounding village community and the authorities. To that end, Fire Free Community program has begun to be activated with early anticipation around the plantation operational area.

Inti Indosawit Subur (IIS) that operates in Maro Sebo Ilir, Batanghari Regency provides Basic Fire Training to Plasma and Swadaya smallholders. There 60 people who collaborate in preventing forest and land fires in the plantation area Inti Indosawit Subur Asian Agri Group.

Parties that involved such as Maro Sebo Ilir Government, Maro Sebo Ilir Police Station, Koramil 415-04, POKDARKAMITIBMAS and Maro Sebo Ilir Firefighters team. Synergy between these parties was inaugurated by signing a Memorandum of Understanding between PT. Inti Indosawit Subur and Kelompok Tani Peduli Api (KTPA) in Maro Sebo Ilir represented by respective village delegates on last Thursday (25/03/2021).
