Asian Agri, an oil palm plantation company a member of Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) Group, through its subsidiary PT Rigunas Agri Utama (RAU) has granted Fire-Free Village reward to its partner villages that successfully prevented forest and land fires in the period of 2020-2021.
This year, the Fire Free Village reward recipient is Semambu Village, Sumay Sub-District, Tebo Regency. Semambu Village Chief Akmal has expressed his gratitude to PT RAU for its assistance in preventing forest and land fires in the village, and for the Fire-Free Village reward.
“We would like to thank the company for the attention and assistance, especially in helping our village prevent fires, and for this year’s award that motivates villagers to continue their efforts to prevent forest and land fires in the village. I hope our partnership can continue and our village can always free from forest and land fires,” said Akmal when receiving the reward symbolically on October 13th, 2021, at the Semambu Village administration office hall.
