[GORIAU] IMPROVING BAGAN LIMAU VILLAGE SMALLHOLDER’S ECONOMIC WELFARE

During the pandemic, Asian Agri, an oil palm plantation company a member of Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) Group, continues to assist the community. Through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Asian Agri seeks to revive the community’s economy that has been adversely affected by the pandemic.

Asian Agri’s CSR program assisted the Sidomulyo Cattle Group, Bagan Limau Village, Ukui Sub-District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau. Asian Agri donated livestock consisting of dozens of ducks through PT Inti Indosawit Subur Kebun Ukui, on September 25th, 2021, to the Sidomulyo group that consisted of 10 people.

The livestock donation remains under the supervision of Asian Agri, so that the benefits can be felt by the community. “Recipients of CSR donation in the form of 95 ducks remain under supervision, both from the company and the village administration, community leaders and groups that are involved in controlling the donation,” said PT Inti Indosawit Subur Kebun Ukui GM Dedi Pardede representing Asian Agri in a press release, Thursday (28/10) night.
