As the Head of Operations, Omri Samosir leads his team in monitoring the company’s overall performance by taking into account quality and financial considerations. He also leads partnership strengthening initiatives with smallholders to ensure sustainable FFB supply.

Omri joined Asian Agri in 1990 as an Assistant General Manager and spent the next decade in various areas in Sumatra. He was appointed as the Head of Sustainability in 2012, Head of CI in 2013, Regional Head for Riau in 2016, and finally as Head of Operations in 2018.

He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) in 1989.
